"Your choice of agent in today's market matters" blah blah blah, you've heard the generic "About" pages before. I try to make my approach to real estate different, enjoyable, and most importantly; effective for you. If you're interested to get to know me and my "why" a bit better - read on!
I'm a born and raised Edmontonian and I started my real estate career in 2015 just after graduating from MacEwan University. Ultimately I got into real estate because I, for one, have always found homes and real estate of all shapes and sizes very interesting - chalk that up to being the generation raised on HGTV. Also, at the time, I was searching for an investment property and after getting a feel for agents and the industry I thought I could bring a lot to the table both in service and modernizing the industry.
I wanted a career where my results and performance were up to me entirely. Sink or swim, 100% of it is my responsibility or my fault. I started off at a big team at a "big box" real estate brokerage. I definitely learned a lot and this was a fantastic experience, however, it also gave me front row seats to see how dated many of the industry practices were.
Shortly thereafter I switched to a low commission brokerage - this was great and changed the trajectory of my real estate career - but it still left a bit to be desired. Fast forward to late 2019 and I was recruited to join REVERE. A local boutique start up brokerage, aiming to combine the low commission side of the business with a more tech and start up approach.
Technology moves fast and real estate moves notoriously slow, so we are excited to bring a ton of new and lasting changes to the business. We have some very exciting developments that are being implemented now and in the future that will make the process much smoother for both buyers and sellers.
If you've read this far and happen to care, yes I do have normal interests and hobbies like a (relatively) normal human being. My hobbies & interests include podcasting, hockey, skiing, stand-up comedy, collecting sneakers, exercising, tattoos (currently at 9 and counting), and longboarding & skateboarding. I also love Edmonton and try to explore as many local spots, restaurants, and the river valley as much as possible. I do my best to support local businesses, and encourage other people to explore what our great city has to offer, I personally think Edmonton is the city of hidden gems if you ask me. (If you've never heard of it, I'd highly recommend checking out Explore Edmonton).
